Pipe Connection
★ Follow these steps for optimal pipe socket connections:
1. Ensure both the pipe socket and fitting socket are thoroughly clean before bonding.
2. Measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port for accuracy.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly, starting with the socket and then the fitting socket.
4. Align the pipe and insert it into the marked section in one motion, then rotate it 1/4 turn.
5. Wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket area.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured for optimal results.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Handle adhesives and cleaning agents only with trained personnel, and use them as needed.
2. Ensure proper ventilation and keep bonding areas free of open flames.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to speed up the curing process.
4. Workers should wear protective gloves. If adhesive contacts the eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine the sawed pipe length based on precise measurements and the dimensions of each connected fitting. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines to ensure a clean, flat cut without deformation. Groove the socket area to be glued at a 15°-30° angle using a medium board file, ensuring a groove length of at least 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove all debris after grooving to ensure a clean surface.
Socket Protection:
After socket connection, clean any extruded adhesive using a cloth dipped in a mild detergent such as acetone. Allow the joint to cure based on adhesive performance and weather conditions, extending curing time as needed for winter construction.
