Pipe Connection
★ For optimal performance, adhere strictly to the following pipe socket connection procedures:
1. Ensure pipe and fitting sockets are thoroughly cleaned before bonding.
2. Accurately measure the depth of the socket and mark accordingly on the pipe port.
3. Apply adhesive, coating the socket first, followed by the pipe, ensuring even and appropriate coverage.
4. Align directions correctly, insert into the marked section in one motion, and rotate a quarter turn for an optimal bond.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket promptly.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface is fully cured.
★ Adhere to these safety provisions to ensure the safe use of adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents responsibly, restricting usage to trained operators.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site, ensuring excellent ventilation.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to bake adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. In case of accidental eye contact with adhesive, rinse thoroughly with water and seek immediate medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine saw pipe lengths based on precise measurements and fitting dimensions. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for a clean cut without deformation. Create a 15°-30° groove with a medium board file, ensuring it's at least 3mm in length and 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Clean away debris after grooving.
Socket Protection:
After socket connection, clean excess adhesive with a cotton cloth or dry cloth dipped in detergent like acetone. Allow the interface to cure statically according to adhesive performance and climate conditions, extending curing time during winter as necessary.
