Pipe Connection
★ Follow these meticulous procedures for secure pipe socket connections:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe socket and fitting socket before proceeding with bonding.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive evenly: start with the socket then proceed to the pipe, ensuring uniform and proper coating.
4. Align accurately, insert fully to the marked depth, and rotate 1/4 turn for a tight fit.
5. Swiftly remove any excess adhesive from the socket surface.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface achieves full cure.
★ Ensure the safe use of adhesives by following these essential guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed—unauthorized personnel should refrain from handling them.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site with adequate ventilation.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using open flames to cure adhesive points.
4. Equip all construction staff with appropriate gloves. In case of accidental adhesive contact with eyes, rinse immediately with ample water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine the saw pipe length based on precise measurements and dimensions of each connection. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, and pipe cutting machinery for accurate cutting. Ensure the cut is flat with no section deformation. Prepare the socket for gluing by filing a 15°-30° groove; groove should be at least 3mm long and 1/3-1/2 of the wall thickness. Clear debris post-grooving.
Socket Protection:
After socket connection, cleanse the oozed adhesive using a cotton yarn or dry cloth with a touch of detergent like acetone. Allow it to stand still until curing completes, considering adhesive performance and weather. Extend curing time appropriately during winter.
