Pipe connection
★ For optimal results, pipe socket connections must be meticulously executed following these guidelines:
1. Ensure the pipe socket and fitting socket are thoroughly cleaned before applying the adhesive.
2. Accurately measure and mark the socket depth on the pipe for precise installation.
3. Apply the adhesive evenly, starting with the socket and then the pipe, ensuring a uniform coat.
4. Align the pieces accurately, insert them fully to the marked depth with a quarter turn for secure bonding.
5. Wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket for a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the adhesive has fully cured, securing the joint.
★ Adhere to these essential safety provisions for adhesive use:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously; restrict handling to authorized personnel only.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site, ensuring adequate ventilation.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip personnel with gloves; in case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the length for sawing each pipe layer using precise measurements and connect fittings accordingly. Employ fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe-cutting machines for a crisp, deformation-free cut. File the socket area to a 15°-30° groove, ensuring it is 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness and at least 3mm long. Clear away any debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, clean excess adhesive with a detergent-dampened cloth. Allow to cure based on adhesive properties and climate conditions, extending winter cure times for effective results.
