Pipe connection
★ Ensure a secure and lasting pipe connection by following these meticulous procedures:
1. Prior to bonding, thoroughly clean both the pipe socket and the pipe fitting socket to ensure optimal adhesion.
2. Accurately measure the depth of the socket and precisely mark the pipe port for a perfect fit.
3. Apply the adhesive uniformly, coating both the socket and pipe fitting socket to guarantee a strong bond.
4. Align carefully and insert into the marked position in one smooth motion, rotating 1/4 turn to secure.
5. Immediately wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket for a neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured, ensuring long-lasting durability.
★ Adhere to the following safety guidelines when using adhesives to ensure secure and safe application:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously, restricted to authorized personnel only.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site, with adequate ventilation for safety.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC and never use fire to accelerate adhesive curing.
4. Equip construction personnel with protective gloves. If adhesive contacts the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention promptly.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length precisely based on measured dimensions for each connected fitting. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for precision cutting. Ensure flat and deformation-free sections. File the socket end into a 15°-30° groove using a medium board file, ensuring a groove length of at least 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clean away debris post-groove preparation.
Socket protection:
After connecting sockets, remove extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with mild detergent like acetone. Allow static curing based on adhesive performance and weather. Extend curing time during winter conditions for optimal results.
