Pipe connection
★ Adhere to the following steps for safe and effective pipe socket connections:
1. Ensure both the pipe socket and fitting socket are clean before bonding.
2. Measure the socket depth and mark the pipe accordingly.
3. Apply the adhesive evenly, starting with the socket and then the fitting socket.
4. Align the direction, insert until the marked part, and rotate 1/4 turn.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured.
★ Follow these guidelines for safe adhesive use:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed and restrict access to non-operators.
2. Ensure no open flames at the bonding site and maintain good ventilation.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and never use fire to speed up adhesive curing.
4. Equip personnel with gloves. In case of eye contact with adhesive, flush with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine saw pipe length based on measurements and connected pipe fittings dimensions. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, and pipe cutting machines for precise cuts. Ensure a flat break with no section deformation. File a 15°-30° groove to a length of at least 3mm. Groove thickness should be 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Remove debris after grooving.
Socket protection:
After connecting the socket, clean the extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth dipped in acetone. Allow the interface to cure based on adhesive performance and weather conditions. Extend curing time during winter construction.
