Pipe connection
★ Ensure a robust pipe socket connection by following these precise procedures:
1. Thoroughly clean both the pipe socket and fitting socket before applying adhesive for optimal bonding.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe end to ensure correct alignment and insertion.
3. Apply adhesive evenly—begin with the socket then proceed to the fitting—ensuring an appropriate coating throughout.
4. Align precisely, insert the pipe into the marked section in a single motion, and rotate it by 1/4 turn for a secure fit.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a neat and professional finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the adhesive has fully cured for a reliable connection.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines for adhesive use:
1. Utilize adhesives and cleaning agents sparingly and responsibly, restricting access to trained operators only.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment with ample ventilation at the bonding site to ensure safety.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to bake adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves for protection. In the event of adhesive contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention promptly.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
The pipe's sawing length should be determined per layer based on accurate measurements and the dimensions of each connected fitting. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines, ensuring a flat, deformation-free cut. Prepare the socket for bonding by filing a 15°-30° groove, with a length not less than 3mm and depth of 1/3-1/2 of the wall thickness. Clear any debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, gently clean the extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with detergent such as acetone. Allow the junction to cure statically, adjusting curing time according to adhesive properties and environmental conditions. Extend curing time during winter to ensure a secure bond.
