Pipe connection
★ Ensure quality pipe socket connections by adhering to the following meticulous procedures:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe socket and fitting socket prior to bonding for optimal adhesion.
2. Accurately measure and mark the depth of the socket to ensure precise alignment.
3. Apply adhesive evenly; coat the fitting socket first, followed by the pipe socket, for a uniform bond.
4. Align and insert the pipe into the marked section, completing a quarter-turn to secure the connection.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a clean and neat joint.
6. Position the bonded pipe upright until the joint is fully cured, ensuring a robust connection.
★ Safely manage adhesive usage by following these essential guidelines:
1. Limit adhesive and cleaning agent use to trained operators only, preventing unauthorized handling.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at bonding sites and ensure good ventilation for safety.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC and refrain from using open flames to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves, and in case of adhesive contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine pipe lengths layer by layer based on precise measurements and connection dimensions. Opt for tools like fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean cuts. Ensure the cut is level and free from section deformation. File the socket section into a 15°-30° groove using a medium board file, with groove length not less than 3mm and thickness 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clear debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, clean excess adhesive with cotton yarn or dry cloth moistened with a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure statically as per adhesive properties and climate conditions, extending curing time in winter.
