Pipe connection
★ For pipe socket connections, adhere strictly to the following procedures:
1. Thoroughly clean both the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket prior to bonding.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port for precision.
3. Apply adhesive starting with the socket, followed by the pipe, ensuring a uniform and appropriate coating.
4. Align correctly, insert to the marked depth in one motion, and rotate a quarter turn for secure fitting.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface fully cures.
★ Adhere to the following regulations for safe adhesive use:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously. Non-operational personnel should refrain from handling them.
2. Maintain good ventilation and ensure there is no open flame at the bonding site.
3. Avoid constructions below -10ºC and do not use open flames to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. In case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with copious water and seek hospital care.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine saw pipe lengths based on precise measurements and the dimensions of each connected pipe fitting. Opt for tools such as fine tooth saws, cutters, and pipe cutting machines to achieve a smooth, deformation-free section. File the socket area to be glued into a 15°-30° groove using a medium board file. Ensure groove length is at least 3mm, with thickness comprising 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall. Clear away debris once grooving is complete.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, clean the extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth lightly dipped in acetone or similar detergent. Allow the connection to set until cured, adjusting curing time based on adhesive performance and climate conditions, especially extending during winter.
