Pipe connection
★ Follow these essential procedures for precise pipe socket connections:
1. Ensure the pipe socket and fitting socket are meticulously cleaned before bonding to achieve the best results.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port for precise alignment.
3. Apply the adhesive meticulously, starting with the socket, then the pipe, ensuring an even and adequate coating.
4. Align, insert into the marked area in one motion, and rotate 1/4 turn to secure the bond.
5. Carefully wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket for a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured, ensuring maximum strength.
★ Adhere to these guidelines for the safe use of adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously, restricting access to trained personnel only.
2. Maintain a flame-free and well-ventilated environment at the bonding site for safety.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. For any adhesive contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the length for saw pipe layer by layer based on precise measurements and dimensions of each connected fitting. Select fine tooth saws, cutters, and pipe cutting machines. Ensure cuts are flat without sectional deformation. File socket areas to a 15°-30° groove using a medium board file, with groove lengths not less than 3mm and thicknesses 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clear debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
After securing the socket connection, use cotton yarn or dry cloth with a touch of detergent like acetone to clean the extruded adhesive. Allow the connection to cure according to adhesive performance and current weather conditions. Extend curing time appropriately during winter construction.
