Pipe Connection
★ Adhere to stringent operating procedures when executing pipe socket connections for optimal results:
1. Before bonding, ensure the pipe socket and fitting socket are thoroughly cleaned.
2. Accurately measure and mark the socket depth on the pipe port for precise installation.
3. Apply adhesive methodically, starting with the socket and proceeding to the fitting, ensuring uniform and adequate coverage.
4. Align and insert into the marked section in one go, executing a 1/4 turn for secure bonding.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a tidy joint.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the adhesive cures, ensuring a robust connection.
★ Follow these essential safety guidelines for adhesive use:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents prudently, restricting access to trained personnel only.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at bonding sites and ensure ample ventilation.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC and refrain from using open flames to accelerate adhesive curing.
4. Equip construction staff with gloves. In case of eye contact with adhesive, flush eyes with water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine the pipe length layer by layer based on precise measurements and the dimensions of connected fittings. Employ fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean cuts. Ensure sections are flat and free of deformation. File the socket area to a 15°-30° groove for bonding, maintaining a groove length of at least 3mm and a thickness of 1/3 to 1/2 of the wall's thickness. Remove debris post-grooving.
Socket Protection:
Post-connection, cleanse any adhesive residue using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with acetone or similar detergent. Allow the bond to cure statically, adjusting the curing duration based on adhesive performance and climate, especially extending the time for winter construction.
