Pipe connection
★ For secure connections, adhere diligently to these procedures:
1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning both the pipe socket and fitting socket prior to bonding.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark it on the pipe port for precision.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly: start with the socket, followed by the fitting, ensuring an even and adequate coat.
4. Align the directions accurately, insert into the marked area in a single motion, and execute a 1/4 turn rotation.
5. Carefully wipe off any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a clean connection.
6. Stand the bonded pipe upright, allowing the interface to cure undisturbed.
★ Ensure safe adhesive use by following these essential guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously; restrict access to authorized personnel only.
2. Maintain a strict no open flame policy at bonding points and ensure the area is well-ventilated.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and refrain from applying heat directly to the adhesive point.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. In case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
The saw pipe length is calculated based on precise measurements and the dimensions of each connecting fitting. Employ tools like fine-tooth saws, cutters, and pipe-cutting machines to ensure a smooth, undistorted cut. Prepare the socket area for adhesive by filing a 15°-30° groove with a medium board file, ensuring the groove is at least 3mm long and 1/3-1/2 the pipe wall's thickness. Post-grooving, clean off any debris meticulously.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, gently clean the excess adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth moistened with a solvent like acetone. Allow the connection to cure statically, adjusting the duration based on adhesive performance and weather conditions. Extend curing time during winter for optimal results.
