Pipe connection
★ Ensure secure connections by meticulously following these expert guidelines for pipe socket operation:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe socket and fitting before applying any adhesive.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port clearly.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket and then the pipe, ensuring a proper coating.
4. Carefully align and insert into the marked section, turning 1/4 of a rotation for optimum fit.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket for a neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface fully cures, ensuring maximum strength.
★ Adhere to these vital safety measures when using adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents sparingly and restrict access to authorized personnel only.
2. Maintain a flame-free and well-ventilated work area to ensure utmost safety during bonding.
3. Avoid working in temperatures below -10ºC and never use fire to bake adhesive points.
4. Equip workers with gloves. In case of accidental eye contact with adhesive, rinse thoroughly with water and seek immediate medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine pipe length based on precise measurements and connected fittings. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines to ensure a flat, deformation-free cut. File the socket area into a 15°-30° groove, with a minimum length of 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 the pipe wall. Clean debris after grooving for optimal adhesion.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, wipe away excess adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with acetone. Allow the bond to cure thoroughly based on adhesive properties and climate, extending winter curing time as needed.
