Pipe connection
★ Follow these meticulous procedures for precise pipe socket connections:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe socket and fitting socket before bonding them together.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port for guidance.
3. Apply the adhesive uniformly: start with the socket, then the fitting socket, ensuring even coverage.
4. Insert the pipe into the marked depth in one smooth motion, turning 1/4 rotation.
5. Carefully wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket area.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until fully cured, ensuring a secure joint.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents responsibly. Restrict access to trained personnel only.
2. Ensure no open flames are present at bonding sites and maintain excellent ventilation.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC and refrain from fire-based drying methods.
4. Safety gear, such as gloves, is mandatory. In case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine saw pipe length based on precise measurements and connected fitting dimensions. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, and pipe cutting machines for clean cuts with no deformation. File the socket to create a 15°-30° groove at least 3mm long, with a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clear debris post-grooving for optimal adhesion.
Socket Protection:
After connecting, clean the extruded adhesive with a cloth dipped in detergent like acetone. Allow to cure based on adhesive properties and weather conditions. Extend curing time for winter projects.
