Pipe connection
★ Ensure a secure pipe socket connection by adhering strictly to the following procedures:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe socket and fitting socket before applying adhesive.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket and following with the pipe, ensuring a consistent coat.
4. Align precisely, insert to the marking in one smooth motion, and rotate a quarter turn for a snug fit.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket for a tidy finish.
6. Allow the newly bonded pipe to stand until the interface fully cures, ensuring a secure setup.
★ Follow these essential safety provisions for the use of adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed, restricting access to trained operators only.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site, ensuring good ventilation throughout the process.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC and do not use fire to heat the adhesive point.
4. Construction personnel should wear gloves; if adhesive contacts the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the precise length of the saw pipe based on measured data and connected fittings. Utilize fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for a clean cut. Ensure the fracture is even and deformation-free. File the socket end into a 15°-30° groove using a medium board file, with a groove length of at least 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 the pipe wall. Clean debris post-grooving for optimal adhesion.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, remove excess adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth dipped in a little cleaning agent like acetone. Allow to cure based on adhesive properties and weather. Extend curing time in winter for effective bonding.
