Pipe connection
★ Ensure precision in pipe socket connections by adhering to these vital procedures:
1. Before bonding, thoroughly clean both the pipe socket and the pipe fitting socket.
2. Measure and mark the socket depth on the pipe port with precision.
3. Apply adhesive evenly: coat the socket first, followed by the pipe end, ensuring a uniform and appropriate layer.
4. Align accurately and insert into the marked section in a single motion, turning 1/4 turn for secure connection.
5. Clean any remaining adhesive from the socket to maintain a tidy finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipes to stand until the interface fully cures, ensuring a strong bond.
★ Adhere to these essential safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as required, restricting access to trained operators only.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site with good ventilation at all times.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and never use fire to dry the adhesive point.
4. Construction personnel must wear gloves. In case of eye contact with adhesive, flush immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe's length accurately, considering measured dimensions and the fittings used. Employ fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for precise cuts. Ensure a flat fracture with no section deformation. File the socket end to a 15°-30° groove, with a minimum groove length of 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 the pipe wall. Clear debris after grooving for optimal adhesion.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, clean excess adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth moistened with a detergent like acetone. Allow to stand until fully cured, adjusting for adhesive properties and weather. Extend curing time in winter for best results.
