Pipe connection
★ Ensure optimal results by meticulously following these critical pipe socket connection procedures:
1. Thoroughly clean both the pipe socket and fitting socket to prepare for bonding.
2. Precisely measure and mark the socket depth on the pipe port, ensuring accuracy.
3. Apply adhesive meticulously, starting with the socket, then the pipe, ensuring uniform and appropriate coverage.
4. Align properly, insert to the marked depth in one swift motion, and rotate a quarter turn to secure.
5. Carefully remove any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain cleanliness.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the joint fully cures, ensuring a strong bond.
★ Prioritize safety by adhering to these adhesive usage guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents strictly as required, restricting access to trained personnel only.
2. Ensure no open flames are present near bonding sites and maintain excellent ventilation.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves; in case of adhesive contact with eyes, rinse with ample water and seek medical attention promptly.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine saw pipe lengths based on accurate measurements and connected fitting dimensions. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for a clean cut, avoiding section deformation. File socket areas into a 15°-30° groove with medium files, ensuring a groove length over 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. After grooving, clean away debris diligently.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, clean extruded adhesive with cotton or dry cloth using a mild detergent like acetone. Leave the joint static until fully cured, considering adhesive properties and weather conditions. Extend curing time appropriately in colder climates.
