Pipe connection
★ Ensure a secure pipe socket connection by following these meticulous procedures:
1. Clean the pipe socket and fitting socket thoroughly before applying adhesive.
2. Measure and mark the socket depth for precision.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly, first on the socket, then on the pipe fitting, ensuring even coverage.
4. Align accurately, insert to the marked position in one motion, and rotate 1/4 turn for a secure fit.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the joint is fully cured, ensuring a robust connection.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents responsibly; restrict access to trained personnel only.
2. Maintain good ventilation and avoid open flames near the bonding area.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC and do not use fire to dry adhesive bonds.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. If adhesive contacts the eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Carefully determine the saw pipe length based on precise measurements and fitting dimensions. Employ fine-tooth saws, cutters, and pipe cutting tools for clean cuts. Ensure the end is flat and free from deformation. File a 15°-30° groove on the socket end, ensuring the groove is at least 3mm long and between 1/3-1/2 the wall thickness. Remove debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
After securing the socket, clean any extruded adhesive with cotton or a dry cloth moistened with a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to set according to adhesive performance and climate, extending curing time during winter.
