Pipe connection
★ For optimal results, adhere strictly to the following pipe socket connection procedures:
1. Ensure both the pipe socket and fitting socket are clean before bonding.
2. Measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, coating the socket first, followed by the pipe fitting socket.
4. Align the direction and insert the pipe into the marked section in one smooth motion, then rotate it 1/4 turn.
5. Wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the adhesive cures completely.
★ Follow these guidelines for safe adhesive use:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed; restrict access to non-operators.
2. Ensure no open flames are present at the bonding site, and maintain good ventilation.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC and do not use fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. In case adhesive contacts the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine saw pipe lengths based on measurements and connected pipe fitting dimensions. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for precise cuts. Ensure the cut is flat, with no section deformation. File the socket area to a 15°-30° groove with a medium board file, maintaining a groove length of at least 3mm and a thickness of 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall. Clean off any debris after grooving.
Socket protection:
Post-socket connection, clean off extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a small amount of detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure based on adhesive performance and climate conditions. Extend curing times appropriately for winter construction.
