Pipe connection
★ Follow these meticulous procedures for a perfect pipe socket connection:
1. Ensure both the pipe socket and fitting socket are impeccably clean before bonding.
2. Accurately measure the depth and mark the pipe port for precision.
3. Apply adhesive methodically, starting with the socket and then the fitting, ensuring a uniform and adequate coat.
4. Align accurately, insert into the mark in one motion, and rotate 1/4 turn for a secure fit.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket for a neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured for optimal strength.
★ Ensure safe adhesive usage by adhering to these guidelines:
1. Only trained operators should handle adhesives and cleaning agents to maintain safety standards.
2. Maintain good ventilation and avoid open flames near the bonding area for a risk-free environment.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to dry the adhesive point.
4. Construction personnel should wear gloves, and if adhesive contacts the eyes, flush immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length precisely according to measurements and connected fittings’ dimensions. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for even cuts. Ensure a flat fracture with no deformation, and file the socket area into a 15°-30° groove, not less than 3mm in length, with a groove thickness of 1/3-1/2 the wall thickness. Clean debris thoroughly post-grooving.
Socket protection:
After connecting the socket, cleanse any extruded adhesive meticulously using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a mild detergent like acetone. Allow static curing of the interface based on adhesive performance and climate conditions. Extend curing time appropriately during winter construction for optimal results.
