Pipe connection
★ For optimal results, adhere strictly to the following procedures during pipe socket connection:
1. Ensure both the pipe socket and fitting socket are thoroughly cleaned before bonding to guarantee a seamless connection.
2. Accurately measure and mark the depth of the socket to ensure precise alignment.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly, starting with the socket and following with the pipe, ensuring a consistent and adequate coating.
4. Align accurately, insert to the marked depth, and give a 1/4 turn to secure the connection.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface has fully cured, ensuring a solid and durable connection.
★ To ensure safe adhesive use, adhere to these important guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed, restricting access to trained personnel only.
2. Keep bonding areas free of open flames and ensure adequate ventilation to maintain a safe environment.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC and refrain from using open flames to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves and ensure prompt medical attention if adhesive contacts the eyes, flushing immediately with water.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length based on precise measurements and the dimensions of each pipe fitting, using fine-tooth saws or pipe-cutting tools for accuracy. Ensure clean, deformation-free cuts. File socket areas into a 15°-30° groove for optimal bonding, with a groove length of at least 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove debris for a pristine finish.
Socket protection:
After securing the socket connection, clean excess adhesive with a detergent-soaked cloth and allow the joint to cure according to adhesive performance and climate conditions. Extend curing time in winter to ensure optimal results.
