Pipe connection
★ Adhere to these detailed procedures for optimal pipe socket connections:
1. Prior to bonding, meticulously clean the pipe socket and fitting socket to ensure a pristine connection.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port for precise alignment.
3. Apply adhesive diligently, starting with the socket, then the fitting, ensuring even and adequate coverage.
4. Align and insert into the marked portion in one fluid motion, twisting 1/4 turn for a secure fit.
5. Carefully remove any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipes to stand undisturbed until a robust interface is achieved.
★ Ensure adhesive safety by following these essential guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaners judiciously, restricting use to trained operators only.
2. Keep the bonding area free of open flames and ensure ample ventilation.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction teams with gloves. If adhesive contacts the eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Define saw pipe lengths based on precise measurements, utilizing fine tooth saws, cutters, and pipe cutting machines for clean cuts without deformation. Groove the socket area into a 15°-30° angle for effective bonding. Ensure groove extends at least 3mm, with depth being 1/3-1/2 of pipe wall thickness. Clean thoroughly post-grooving.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, cleanse excess adhesive using cotton yarn or cloth with detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure statically, adjusting time for winter conditions to solidify a durable bond.
