Pipe connection
★ Adhere strictly to the following protocol for effective pipe socket connections:
1. Ensure both pipe and fitting sockets are meticulously cleaned before applying adhesive.
2. Accurately measure and mark the socket depth on the pipe end.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly: coat the socket first, followed by the pipe end.
4. Align the parts, insert fully into the marked section, and rotate 1/4 turn for secure bonding.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain cleanliness.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the adhesive fully cures for optimal strength.
★ For safe adhesive use, follow these essential guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaners as required, keeping them out of non-operators' reach.
2. Ensure no open flames are nearby, and maintain adequate ventilation at the bonding site.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and never use an open flame to dry the adhesive.
4. Always wear gloves; if adhesive contacts eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine pipe length based on measurements and connected fittings. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, and pipe cutting machines for precise cuts. Ensure a flat fracture with no deformation. File a 15°-30° groove on the glue-ready socket area, maintaining a groove length of at least 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clean debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, clean excess adhesive with cotton yarn or cloth moistened with acetone or similar detergent. Allow static curing based on adhesive properties and weather. Extend curing time during winter construction.
