Pipe Connection
★ Follow these crucial steps for the pipe socket connection:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe socket and fitting socket before applying adhesive.
2. Measure the socket depth and mark the pipe end accordingly.
3. Apply the adhesive evenly, first on the socket and then on the pipe end.
4. Align and insert the pipe to the marked depth, then rotate it 1/4 turn.
5. Wipe off any excess adhesive from the socket.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the adhesive cures.
★ Adhere to the following safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed, keeping them away from non-operators.
2. Ensure good ventilation and avoid open flames at the bonding site.
3. Do not perform construction below -10ºC, and never use fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Wear gloves during application. If adhesive contacts the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine the pipe length based on precise measurements and the dimensions of connected fittings. Use a fine tooth saw, cutter, or pipe cutting machine for sawing. Ensure a flat cut with no deformation. File a 15°-30° groove on the glue area, with a length of at least 3mm and a groove depth of 1/3-1/2 the pipe wall thickness. Remove any debris after grooving.
Socket Protection:
After socket connection, clean excess adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth dipped in a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure based on adhesive performance and climate conditions. Extend curing time appropriately for winter construction.
