Pipe Connection
★ Ensure precision in pipe socket connections by meticulously following these step-by-step guidelines:
1. Thoroughly clean both the pipe socket and fitting socket before applying adhesive.
2. Mark the pipe port after accurately measuring the socket depth.
3. Apply the adhesive methodically, starting with the socket, followed by the fitting socket, ensuring a uniform and judicious coating.
4. Carefully align the components, insert them to the marked depth in one swift motion, and rotate 1/4 turn for secure adhesion.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket for a neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface is fully cured.
★ Follow these critical safety provisions when handling adhesives:
1. Utilize adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously, restricting access to trained personnel only.
2. Maintain a fire-safe environment with excellent ventilation at bonding sites.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to heat adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves; if adhesive contacts the eyes, rinse with plenty of water and seek immediate medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine the saw pipe length meticulously based on precise measurements and fitting dimensions. Utilize fine-toothed saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines to ensure clean, deformation-free cuts. For a flawless socket fit, create a 15°-30° groove using a medium board file; grooves should be at least 3mm long and 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Thoroughly remove debris post-groove for optimal adhesion.
Socket Protection:
Post-connection, gently clean the extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth moistened with acetone. Allow the joint to set in accordance with adhesive performance and climatic conditions, extending curing times during winter.
