Pipe Connection
★ Follow these guidelines to achieve optimal pipe socket connections:
1. Ensure both the pipe socket and the fitting socket are thoroughly clean before bonding.
2. Measure the socket depth carefully and mark the pipe port accordingly for precision.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly, starting with the socket and then the fitting socket to ensure even bonding.
4. Align and insert the pipe into the marked section in one smooth motion, then rotate it 1/4 turn for secure attachment.
5. Promptly wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface is fully cured, ensuring a strong and lasting bond.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Only trained personnel should handle adhesives and cleaning agents, ensuring their proper and safe usage.
2. Maintain adequate ventilation and keep bonding areas free of any open flames to avoid hazards.
3. Avoid conducting construction activities at temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to accelerate the curing process.
4. Workers should wear gloves for protection. If adhesive comes into contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention promptly.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Accurate measurement is crucial to determine the sawed pipe length, considering the dimensions of each connected fitting. Utilize fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines to achieve a clean, flat cut without deformation. Groove the socket area to be glued at a 15°-30° angle using a medium board file, ensuring a groove length of at least 3mm and a depth of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Remove any debris post-grooving for a smooth finish.
Socket Protection:
After completing the socket connection, clean any excess adhesive using a cloth dipped in a mild detergent such as acetone. Allow ample curing time based on the adhesive's performance and prevailing weather conditions, extending the curing period suitably during winter constructions to ensure a secure joint.
