Pipe connection
★ Ensure precision in pipe socket connections by adhering strictly to the following procedures:
1. Thoroughly cleanse the pipe socket and fitting socket prior to bonding to ensure optimal adhesion.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port for precise alignment.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, beginning with the socket, followed by the fitting, ensuring a uniform coat.
4. Align, insert, and rotate 1/4 turn into the marked position for a secure fit.
5. Carefully remove any excess adhesive from the socket for a clean, professional finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured, ensuring strong and reliable connections.
★ Adhere to these guidelines for the safe use of adhesives:
1. Utilize adhesives and cleaning agents only as needed, restricting use to trained operators.
2. Ensure no open flames are present at the bonding site and maintain excellent ventilation for safety.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to cure adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves; if adhesive contacts eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine saw pipe lengths with precision, layer by layer, based on measurements and the dimensions of connected fittings. Employ fine tooth saws, cutters, and pipe cutting machines for accuracy. Ensure cuts are flat without deformities. File sockets for bonding into a 15°-30° groove with a medium board file, maintaining a groove length of at least 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove debris post-grooving for a clean finish.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, clean extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth dipped in acetone or similar detergent. Allow the socket to remain static until the adhesive cures, factoring in weather conditions, with extended curing times for winter construction.
