Pipe connection
★ To ensure optimal performance, follow these precise procedures for pipe socket connection:
1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning both the pipe socket and fitting socket before bonding for a secure connection.
2. Carefully measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port to ensure accurate alignment.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket and then the pipe, ensuring a uniform coat for optimal bonding.
4. Align precisely, insert the pipe into the marked position, and twist 1/4 turn to secure the connection.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a tidy finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the adhesive fully cures, assuring a lasting bond.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Only authorized personnel should handle adhesives and cleaning agents to prevent misuse.
2. Ensure the bonding area is free from open flames and well-ventilated to maintain a safe environment.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC; never use fire to accelerate adhesive setting.
4. Equip workers with gloves; if adhesive contacts eyes, rinse with ample water and seek immediate medical assistance.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine pipe length with precision, using measured data and fitting dimensions. Employ tools like fine-tooth saws or cutters for smooth cuts. The pipe edge should be flat and undeformed. File the socket end into a 15°-30° groove, ensuring a length of at least 3mm and a depth of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clear debris post-grooving for a clean surface.
Socket protection:
After connecting, clean excess adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a touch of detergent like acetone. Allow to stand until fully cured based on adhesive and climate conditions, extending curing time during winter for optimal results.
