Pipe connection
★ Execute pipe socket connections flawlessly by adhering to the following meticulous procedures:
1. Clean the pipe socket and fitting socket thoroughly before starting the bonding process.
2. Accurately measure and mark the socket depth on the pipe port for precision fitting.
3. Apply the adhesive uniformly, starting with the socket and then the socket, ensuring even and adequate coverage.
4. Align with precision, insert the pipe to the marked depth in one motion, and rotate a quarter turn for secure fitting.
5. Carefully wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface has fully cured, ensuring a robust connection.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines for using adhesives:
1. Utilize adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously, restricting use to trained personnel only.
2. Ensure the bonding site is free from open flames and well-ventilated to maintain safety.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to heat adhesive points.
4. Equip construction staff with protective gloves, and in case of adhesive contact with eyes, rinse immediately with abundant water and seek medical attention promptly.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Tailor pipe lengths to precise measurements, utilizing tools like fine-tooth saws, cutters, and pipe-cutting machines to ensure clean, deformation-free sections. Prepare the socket for bonding by filing a precise 15°-30° groove, maintaining a length of at least 3mm, and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. After grooving, meticulously clear away debris to ensure a pristine surface.
Socket protection:
After securing the socket connection, gently cleanse the extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth moistened with a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure in a static position, adjusting the curing time based on adhesive properties and climate conditions, especially extending during winter constructions.
