Pipe connection
★ Follow these meticulous procedures for pipe socket connections to ensure optimal results:
1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning the pipe socket and fitting socket before applying adhesive.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port for precision.
3. Apply the adhesive neatly, first on the socket and then on the fitting, ensuring even coverage.
4. Align the directions precisely, insert the pipe to the marked depth, and rotate it a quarter turn for a secure fit.
5. Carefully clean away any excess adhesive from the socket.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface fully cures.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents responsibly and restrict access to trained operators only.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at bonding sites, ensuring good ventilation.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC and never use fire to dry the adhesive point.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. In case of adhesive contact with eyes, promptly rinse with copious water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length precisely, layer by layer, based on exact measurements and pipe fitting dimensions. Opt for fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for a clean, deformation-free cut. Prepare the socket for gluing by filing a 15°-30° groove, ensuring a minimum length of 3mm and a thickness between 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall. After grooving, meticulously remove debris.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, cleanse extruded adhesive with cotton or dry cloth dipped in detergent like acetone. Allow it to remain static until full curing, adjusted for adhesive performance and weather. Extend curing time appropriately during winter.
