Pipe connection
★ Ensure secure pipe connections by meticulously adhering to the following procedures:
1. Prior to bonding, clean the pipe socket and fitting socket thoroughly.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port for precision.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket and then the pipe fitting, ensuring uniform coverage.
4. Carefully align and insert into the marked section, giving a 1/4 turn for secure fitting.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket for a neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface has fully cured.
★ Adhere to these essential safety guidelines for adhesive use:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents responsibly, restricting use to authorized personnel only.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site with proper ventilation.
3. Avoid construction under -10ºC, and never use fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves for safety. If adhesive contacts the eyes, rinse immediately with copious water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
The length of the saw pipe is determined by precise measurements, matching the dimensions of each connected fitting. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines to ensure a smooth, deformation-free cut. A groove, 15°-30°, should be filed onto the socket area for adhesion, with a length not less than 3mm and thickness between 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall. Post-grooving, remove debris thoroughly.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, clean any extruded adhesive with cotton or cloth lightly dampened with detergent like acetone. Allow static curing of the interface in accordance with adhesive properties and weather conditions, extending the curing period in winter.
