Pipe Connection
★ Ensure the integrity of pipe socket connections by strictly adhering to the following procedures:
1. Clean the pipe socket and fitting socket thoroughly before applying bonding agents to achieve a strong, secure connection.
2. Accurately measure and mark the depth of the socket on the pipe port for precise alignment.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket followed by the pipe socket, ensuring a consistent coating.
4. Align the pipes correctly and insert them to the marked depth in one smooth motion, then rotate by 1/4 turn for optimal bonding.
5. Carefully remove any excess adhesive from the socket to ensure a clean, neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface is fully cured for a strong, lasting seal.
★ Adhere to the following guidelines for the safe use of adhesives:
1. Only use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed; ensure non-operators do not handle them for safety purposes.
2. Maintain good ventilation at the bonding site and avoid open flames to ensure a safe working environment.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points to prevent damage.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves; in case of adhesive contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water immediately and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine the length of the saw pipe precisely according to measurements and fitting dimensions. Use fine-toothed saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines. Ensure cuts are flat and sections remain undeformed. File the socket area into a 15°-30° groove, at least 3mm in length, with a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove debris after grooving for a clean finish.
Socket Protection:
Post-connection, clean any extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth moistened with a mild detergent like acetone. Allow to sit until fully cured per adhesive properties and climate conditions, extending curing time in winter as needed.
