Pipe connection
★ For optimal results, the pipe socket connection must be executed meticulously according to these procedures:
1.Wipe the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket clean before applying adhesive to ensure a secure bond.
2. Precisely measure the depth of the socket and mark the pipe port to guide the insertion.
3. Apply adhesive to both the socket and the pipe fitting, ensuring a uniform and adequate coating for strong adhesion.
4.Align correctly, insert up to the mark in one smooth motion, and twist 1/4 turn to ensure a tight fit.
5.Thoroughly clean any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a neat installation.
6.Support the bonded pipe securely until the adhesive has fully cured, ensuring dependable joints.
★ Safe handling of adhesives requires adherence to the following safety measures:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously, restricting access to trained operators only to prevent accidents.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site and ensure excellent ventilation to safeguard health.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to heat the adhesive point.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves for safety. In case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention promptly.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length according to precise measurements and the sizes of connected fittings. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for a smooth cut. Ensure the cut is flat, with no deformation. Bevel the socket end to a groove of 15°-30° using a medium board file, with a groove length no less than 3mm and thickness 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clean all debris post-grooving for optimal bonding.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, clean any excess adhesive from the socket with a cloth dampened with detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure in static conditions aligned with adhesive properties and weather. Extend curing time during winter to ensure robust bonding.
