Pipe connection
★ Ensure flawless pipe socket connections by following these detailed procedures:
1. Before bonding, ensure the pipe socket and fitting are meticulously wiped clean.
2. Precisely measure and mark the depth of the socket on the pipe port for accuracy.
3. Apply adhesive carefully, coating the socket first, followed by the fitting, ensuring an even and adequate spread.
4. Align accurately, insert into the marked position in one motion, and rotate a quarter turn to secure.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipes to stand until the interface is fully cured, ensuring a strong connection.
★ Adhere to these safety protocols for the secure use of adhesives:
1. Utilize adhesives and cleaning agents as needed and restrict their use to trained operators only.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site and ensure proper ventilation.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Provide construction personnel with gloves, and in case of eye contact with adhesive, flush thoroughly with water and seek immediate medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length based on precise measurements and the dimensions of each fitting connection. For cutting, use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines to achieve a smooth, undistorted fracture. File the socket area into a 15°-30° groove with a medium board file, ensuring the groove length is at least 3mm and its thickness is 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Clear debris after grooving for a clean finish.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, clean any extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth moistened with a mild detergent such as acetone. Allow the interface to cure in a stable position, accommodating adhesive performance and climatic conditions. Extend curing time appropriately during winter construction.
