Pipe Connection
★ For a secure pipe socket connection, adhere strictly to these steps:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket before applying adhesive.
2. Measure the socket depth and mark the pipe accordingly.
3. Apply the adhesive evenly, starting with the socket, followed by the pipe end.
4. Align the direction, insert the pipe into the socket up to the marked depth in one motion, and rotate it 1/4 turn.
5. Wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured.
★ Ensure the safe use of adhesives by following these guidelines:
1. Only use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed and restrict access to non-operators.
2. Avoid open flames at the bonding site and ensure proper ventilation.
3. Do not perform construction below -10ºC, and avoid using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Construction workers should wear gloves. If adhesive comes into contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine the length of the saw pipe layer by layer based on precise measurements and the dimensions of each connected pipe fitting. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines. The cut must be smooth and free from deformation. File the socket end to a 15°-30° groove with a medium board file, ensuring a groove length of at least 3mm and a thickness between 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove any debris after grooving.
Socket Protection:
After socket connection, clean the extruded adhesive with a cotton yarn or dry cloth dipped in a bit of acetone or similar detergent. Let it stand until fully cured, considering adhesive performance and climatic conditions. Prolong curing times during winter construction.
