Pipe connection
★ Ensure seamless connections by strictly following these essential procedures for pipe socket connections:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket before starting the bonding process.
2. Carefully measure the depth of the socket and mark the pipe port accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive evenly; begin with the socket, then the pipe, ensuring a uniform and appropriate coat.
4. Align the pipes meticulously, insert them in a single move to the marking point, and rotate a quarter turn for a secure fit.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the connection is thoroughly cured for optimal durability.
★ Safety is paramount when using adhesives; observe these guidelines to ensure safe application:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously, restricting access to authorized personnel only.
2. Maintain excellent ventilation at the bonding site, and strictly avoid open flames to ensure safety.
3. Refrain from construction activities in temperatures below -10ºC and never expose adhesive points to open flames.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves; in case of accidental eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention promptly.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the pipe length meticulously based on precise measurements and the dimensions of each connection. Utilize fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe-cutting machines for a clean cut. Ensure the section remains undistorted and flat. For the socket, file a precise 15°-30° groove, ensuring a groove length of at least 3mm and a groove thickness that is 1/3-1/2 of the wall thickness. Clear away debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
After securing the socket connection, wipe away excess adhesive with a cloth moistened with a cleaner like acetone. Allow the connection to set undisturbed until fully cured, tailored to adhesive performance and weather conditions, extending curing times as necessary during winter.
