Pipe Connection
★ Ensure the integrity of the pipe socket connection by strictly following these procedures:
1. Thoroughly clean both the pipe socket and fitting socket before bonding, ensuring a pristine surface for optimal adhesion.
2. Accurately measure the depth of the socket, marking the pipe port for precision alignment.
3. Apply the adhesive carefully, first coating the socket and then the pipe, ensuring an even and appropriate layer.
4. Align accurately, insert the pipe into the marked section in one smooth motion, then rotate by 1/4 turn for a secure fit.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a neat and professional finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured, ensuring a strong and lasting connection.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Adhesives and cleaning agents should be used as required, restricted to trained personnel to ensure safety.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding location, with adequate ventilation to prevent hazardous conditions.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC, and do not use fire to bake the adhesive point.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. If adhesive contacts the eyes, rinse with plenty of water immediately and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine the length of the saw pipe layer by layer based on precise measurements and the dimensions of each connected fitting. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for accurate cuts. Ensure the cut surface is flat with no deformation. File the socket area to be glued into a 15°-30° groove using a medium board file. The groove length should not be less than 3mm, with a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove all debris after grooving.
Socket Protection:
Clean the extruded adhesive from the socket with cotton yarn or a dry cloth lightly moistened with a detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure in a static position according to the adhesive's performance and climatic conditions. Extend curing time appropriately during winter construction for optimal results.
