Pipe connection
★ Ensure secure pipe socket connections by meticulously following these critical procedures:
1. Begin with a clean slate by thoroughly wiping the pipe socket and fitting socket before bonding.
2. Measure and mark: Accurately gauge the socket's depth and clearly mark the pipe port.
3. Paint the adhesive with precision: Start with the socket, followed by the pipe socket, ensuring a uniform and appropriate coating.
4. Align and secure: Insert the pipe precisely into the marked area, executing a 1/4 turn for optimal results.
5. Finish with care: Gently wipe away any adhesive residue from the socket, ensuring a clean finish.
6. Allow time for bonding: Stand the bonded pipe until the interface is fully cured, ensuring a strong connection.
★ Adhere to these essential guidelines for the safe use of adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents responsibly, restricting use to authorized personnel only.
2. Maintain safety by preventing open flames at bonding points and ensuring good ventilation.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to bake adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves, and in case of accidental contact with eyes, flush with water immediately and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length based on precise measurements and the dimensions of connected fittings. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, and pipe cutting machines for clean cuts. Ensure no deformation at the fracture. For socket gluing, create a 15°-30° groove with a medium file, maintaining a length of at least 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the wall thickness. Remove debris post-grooving for a pristine finish.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, meticulously clean extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth dabbed in a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the interface to cure, factoring in adhesive performance and climate. Extend curing time for winter construction.
