Pipe connection
★ Ensure the pipe socket connection follows these meticulous steps:
1. Clean the pipe socket and the socket of the pipe fitting thoroughly before bonding.
2. Measure the depth of the socket and mark the pipe port accurately.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly, starting with the socket and then moving to the socket. Ensure the coating is even and adequate.
4. Align the direction and insert the pipe into the marking part in one motion, then rotate it a quarter turn.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket.
6. Stand the bonded pipe until the interface cures completely.
★ Adhere to the following guidelines for the safe use of adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed; unauthorized personnel should not use them.
2. Ensure no open flames are near the bonding area, and maintain good ventilation.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC, and do not use fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Construction personnel should wear gloves. If adhesive enters the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
The saw pipe length should be determined layer by layer based on actual measurements and the dimensions of connected fittings. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for sawing. Ensure the cut is flat and the section is free of deformation. File the socket part into a groove of 15°-30° using a medium board file, with a length of at least 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clean off debris after grooving.
Socket protection:
After connecting the socket, clean the excess adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a mild detergent such as acetone. Allow the joint to cure according to the adhesive's performance and climatic conditions. Extend curing time appropriately for winter construction.
